"Compassion and Unity is something that we, as Americans, lack. We need to start putting ourselves in other people’s shoes and imagine if that’s how you want your son or daughter to be treated. I’m assuming everyone would say no. So why are we so angry with minorities? Why do some feel it’s okay to treat other minorities negatively? Our nation is divided and having unity and compassion is a small step to closing the gap we have in our nation." - Dara
